Brandon strives to be a great listener, counselor, and advocate, in that order. His passion is to help people and organizations solve difficult problems. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University, magna cum laude, and then went on to graduate in the top half of his class at the University of Georgia School of Law. Brandon first became interested in law when a friend invited him to try out for GSU’s collegiate mock trial team. After earning his way through college with a part-time career in IT, Brandon was accepted to UGA Law and began his journey towards his dream of becoming a trial lawyer.
Prior to graduation Brandon excelled in his externship which landed him a job as an Assistant District Attorney for the Alcovy Judicial Circuit. While at the DA’s office he assisted an effort by the Georgia Legislature to implement new regulations on secondary metal recyclers to help protect businesses and property owners from damage to HVAC systems by metal thieves. In addition to helping to provide better laws to protect our property, Brandon grew comfortable in the courtroom, successfully obtaining winning jury verdicts in all but his very first trial.
After departing the DA’s office, Brandon spent 6 years working as General Counsel and then Chief Operating Officer of a tech startup where he helped the organization quintuple in revenue during his leadership tenure. In addition to oversight of the legal department, he ran all major aspects of the organization’s operations and managed over 20 employees. Brandon now leverages this solid foundation in law, business, and technology to help clients find pragmatic and innovative solutions to their problems both inside and outside the courtroom.
Brandon lives in Gwinnett County with his wonderful wife and 4 amazing children, and is an active member of his church, New Bridge Church in Lawrenceville. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active with his kids in the great outdoors or at a pickup soccer game, or sitting at home with his family strumming the guitar.
